A long weekend in Spain visiting the in-laws brought some very unexpected colour this weekend. We would normally visit in September and after the hottest month of August there isn't normally a lot of colour around, but this time......
The highlight of this year's trip was to Mijas, a very small town in the mountains of Spain. Stunning view across the hills....
A stunning church carved into the hill side....
Stunning gold work that the QQ's would be proud of.....
Beautiful gardens.....
Great use of plant pots - this would look great on the BH walls!!
The views from the villa aren't bad either.....
And our trip would not be complete without a walk along the beach and into the port.....
And of course a little drink or two.....
