Sunset in Littlehampton - Saturday

I left it a little late in the evening to head out with the camera - just as I left the house the heavens opened- and they opened wide.  I was only heading fives minutes down the road so decided to give it 10 and see what happened!!  And this happened! And all was well in the world!

I've tried hard to experiment with my post processing on these images.

All without new filters as not enough wind to move the clouds!

Pleased with the black & white - gives the image a completely different look.  However, need to work on the sharpness of my images.

London: The Commitments

I was recently asked to book tickets for a birthday gift - and in my haste I booked tickets for the wrong day - with a bit of moving round and rather than waste them, D and I managed to see the show ourselves.  And as we were going into London - why not make a day of it!!

Always try to get a ride on one the last remain old Route Masters - 15 Route from Tower Bridge  to Trafalgar Square - look one happy husband!

All to himself no less - well that's if you don't count the camera woman!

The Commitments - it was a brilliant show - would very highly recommend!

Sandown 2014

Sandown 2014: The quilting and crochet has taken bit of a back seat of late but I made sure my photography portfolio work was completed early so I could attend Sandown - having missed it last year.   I had a list of items to restock my 'crafting cupboard' and a list of items for a hand quilting course booked for September.  Looking hard for inspiration to start my quilting creative mojo off - these are just a few of the quilts I liked.

I felt there was a little something missing this year and I'm not sure what - perhaps my creative mojo has been elsewhere!!
