The week that was......

Manic week....

Washing machine packed up last weekend... Old one out.

New one in.

New patio door, frame and surround delivered and fitted.  Old one out.

New one in.

Trip to BH Tuesday to meet insurance guy and builder to discuss work.  Informed that work would start this week.  Trip to BH Thursday night to remove some larger items from the garage.  And this is what we found.  The first step to moving forward.

In the words of Kylie....Let's Step Back in Time!!!

Last weekend was a mixture - a good day, and a not so good day.  I really don't like posting out of date order, but with everything going on I just have not had time ... and really as this is only for my own reference.... it does not matter at all!!!!

Good Day: Saturday 23rd June - Sandown

All week I could not decide if I should attend Sandown this year, perhaps my time would be better put to use doing other things..... But I opened my door this morning, I found two QQ, dressed in swimming goggle - pretending to swim up my driveway - with a large bunch of flowers.  I had made the correct decision.

These are some of the quilts that caught my eye!!!

My purchases this year were mainly based around my two nephews.  Little S, 4, mad on skate boarding. And not so little J, 9, mad on motocross. I also manage a few little extras for myself...as you do!!!

And I even managed to fit in a workshop.  Country Pleasures, Shirley Bloomfield. Yet to finished!

And this is what it should look like when finished...... :)

Well there you have it.... my good day.

Sunday 24th June. - Not so Good!

Empty cupboards.  More packing. Mouldy cupboards.

Found this loan chocolate bar in the fridge - didn't seem worth packing - so I ate it.  Highlight of the day!
