Photography: Week Seven (Still Life & Light Drawing)

Still Life:

Image is taken - subject not moving - scene usually set up. eg. Flowers, fruit, jewelry, glass
Practical uses: Fine art, detailed macro photography, EBAY!
What you need to create still life, Interesting subject, good light, macro lens a plus but not a necessity, tripod and shutter release, light cube or infinity board

Dark Shooting:
Shoot in the dark using various light sources, eg. coloured torches.

Class Exercise: Subject, Lights off, Play!! Mode M, Speed 30 F11

OMG ....such fun!!!


Light Drawing:
Literally drawing with light.

Note: bike lights red reflectors, coloured wraps around torch

Class Exercise: Mode M, Speed 30 F11, Play!!

Light Trails: Not enough cars to get full effect but top line was a bus, lower line a car....

And then there was this one....... Can you see the face above my right hand shoulder?!! Spoooky!!
