Dyeing: Salt and Soda Solution

Salt Solution - 500g to 2 litres of hot water.

Normal Salt - no additives.  Pour salt into large - pourable -container add the required amount of hot water. Shake every now and again to help dissolve the salt.

The salt is needed to get the dye out of the water onto the cloth.


Washing Soda/Soda Crystals - 400g to 2 litres of hot water.

Make sure no bleach in in the soda.  Pout soda into a pourable container and add the required amount of hot water - again shake every now and again to help dissolve.

The Soda is needed for the dye to react with the cloth.


Ta Dah - two containers to keep you going during the day.
