Durham by Night

The first time I have combined two of my three passions - in Durham for a Quilting weekend - I had decided before hand to pack my camera and a spare lens and of course my trusty tripod.  I decided it would be wrong to go all that way and not photograph their magnification buildings ..... and luckily for me two friends came with me.

And this is what I managed.....

    Wow some crackers in there. loving the riverside view up and back at the castle and cathedral and the last night time shot of cathedral ...was the sky really that blue??

    Great photos Carole. I love all of them... Helen, that's why its called the 'blue' hour as there is still colour in the sky after dark, not quite seen by the human eye !
