So fairly consistent scoring this season for colour prints. Coming joint third.
1st (Joint) 70.5, 2nd 68.5 and 3rd (Joint) 68...... so very little in it!

Photographer of the Year, PDI, Mono & Colour Prints - our two end of season competitions where the classes are stripped away and everyone can enter two images scoring 9 and above from the current season.

PDI: Down to the last 19 out of 63 images

Colour Prints:  I will actually state - and probably for the only time in my club life that I did feel rather hopeful with Bosham - it's an image I'm incredibly proud of. HC. One winner and three HC out of 40 images, with 11 being held.

A pretty good season over all.

Surprisingly I have come first. 71 out of 80. Just piped second place by 1.5 points.  Sadly that means advanced next season.  Not sure where I go from here with B&W.

CCC Season 3 - Colour Print Summary

So starting this season in September 2016, in the Advance section my aim was really not to embarrass myself too much amongst the greats of the club (lol).

Round 1:

Honeybee - 8.5

Multiple Flowers - 8.5

Round 2:

Flowers in the wind - 9

Take Off - 9

Round 3:

A Little Rough - 8.5

Cathedral of Mirrors - 8.5

Round 4:

Bosham - 9.5

Morning Light - 10

OK - on reflection - perhaps I did better than I thought!

The scores on the door: 1st place: 74.5, 2nd: 74, 3rd: 73, other scores 71.5, 68.5, 62. My score 71.5 - a respectable 4th (mainly due to the great finish!!!). I suppose then the aim next year - top three!! lol - I should point out that 6 members of the advance section didn't enter any or one two images, so their scores are not included. Top three maybe not, if everyone joins in!!

Editors Note: Texturegate: I have removed my Morning Light image from the club competition due to some incorrect information I received. My score is therefore amended to 61.5. A massive learning curve. 

Cheam Camera Club: PDI Summary

Ending Season Two in the Standard Group with 104  out of 120. Coming 2nd in the group. (I'm actually not sure if I move up at this stage, as the winner got 105.5).  My goal for this season was to get a 10 - and not get anything below 7! Epic fail (!!) with a 6.5 in Round 5. I'll let that one go, however as two 10 received in Round 3 and two in Round 6!
