Ta Dah: Lunch Time Lucy

Sadly our most recent addition to the QQ 'gang' is moving to the USA  - luckily for us, only temporarily but going all the same! A small gift was need to help her on her journey, and of course a small reminder of her QQ friends.  A gnome was suggested, unsure why now, but I'm sure it made sense at the time.  However, in looking for a crochet gnome pattern we found 'Ellen'.....

A Head.....

Little arms and little legs......

A body...... with a dress (goodness did that dress give me some sleepless nights!)

 
Put them altogether....

Ta Dah - named lunch time Lucy - because she was made during my lunch times.....

But now known as Mini Ellen because she does actually look like her new owner.  We are hoping to follow 'Ellen' around the USA and join in her adventures!

Editors note: Two extra rows were added to the dress as too much of 'Ellen's' knickers were on show!! Now could five other QQ be reproduced in full crochet style!!!
